SQA Qualifications
The Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) is the national accreditation and awarding body in Scotland; they are a not-for-profit government agency accountable to the Scottish Government, responsible for developing, accrediting, assessing and certificating Scottish qualifications. SQA’s purpose is to help people around the world fulfil their potential and maintain standards across Scottish education, engaging with industry, learners, schools, colleges and training providers globally to develop, maintain, and improve a framework of qualifications, and to set and maintain standards for many other awarding bodies, and accredited qualifications.
